NOTICE OF PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING FOR THE TOWN OF SHERMAN

Notice is hereby given that on November 19, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. at the Town Hall of the Town of Sherman a Public Hearing on the Proposed 2021 Budget of the Town of Sherman will be held.  The Budget Hearing of the electors is called pursuant to Sec. 65.90(3) of Wisconsin State Statues.  The proposed budget in detail is available for inspection at the Town Hall by appointment.  The following is a summary of the Proposed 2021 Budget.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS

OF THE TOWN OF SHERMAN

Notice is hereby given a special Town Meeting of the electors of the Town of Sherman, November 19, 2020.  The special Town Meeting will follow the completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed 2021 Town Budget, which begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Sherman Town Hall, N8425 CTY RD. “F”.  The special Town meeting of the electors is called to pursuant to Sec. 60.12 (1)(c) of Wisconsin Statutes by the Town Board for the following purposes:

1. To adopt the 2020 Town Tax Levy to be paid in 2021 to Sec. 60.10 (1) (a) of Wisconsin
2. To approve the total 2021 highway expenditures pursuant to Sec. 82.03 (2) of Wisconsin Statues.
3. To set the compensation for the elected Town Officials to be elected on April 6, 2021 and to hold the term of office from April 20, 2021 for two years pursuant to Section 60.32 of Wisconsin State Statues.
